THERMAL OIL HEATING

FTN thermal oil heaters for stable, low-pressure process heat.

FTN delivers indirect process heating with consistent temperature profiles, high operational efficiency, and safety-focused design for demanding industrial applications.

High temperature process heat at very low pressure.

FTN systems operate in indirect closed-loop mode, allowing high operating temperatures with very low system pressure. Depending on the selected fluid and engineering scope, applications can reach up to 320 C with organic oils and up to 427 C with selected synthetic fluids.

Process Heat Low Pressure

Designed for thermal stability and operating predictability.

FTN architecture focuses on balanced temperature profile, efficient heat transfer, and reduced thermal stress in continuous industrial duty.

  • Energy performance focus to reduce fuel cost drivers and support CO2 reduction pathways.
  • Optimized internal flow to minimize dead zones and reduce risk of local oil overheating.
  • Robust coil and burner interface design to control thermal stress and support long service life.

Horizontal or vertical to fit your layout.

  • FTN-H (horizontal): maintenance-friendly access for selected layouts.
  • FTN-V (vertical): optimized footprint for constrained industrial spaces.
  • Optional combustion air preheater available by project scope.

Capacity and fuel flexibility.

Combustion capacity 160 kW to 16,000 kW
Electric option Up to 1,000 kW (where applicable)
Thermal medium Mineral and synthetic thermal oils
Fuel options Natural gas, LPG, heating oil, biomass and by-products, or electricity

Complete package for faster deployment.

FTN can be supplied with an integrated accessory package to reduce site variability and simplify execution governance.

  • Primary circulation pump set
  • Expansion vessel and collection tank
  • Fill and drain pump package
  • Line deaerator tank
  • Burner and Steammaster control panel

Safety interlocks and thermal governance.

Control logic and protections can include low flow, high oil temperature, low oil level, and high flue gas temperature stop conditions, according to project engineering scope.
